Voodoo Glow Skulls

Voodoo Glow Skulls were formed in 1988 by Eddie, Jorge and Frank Casillas with Jerry O’Neill. After a few years of backyard parties, cassette demos, 7-inch singles and their first club gigs, they released their debut album Who Is, This Is? on Dr. Strange Records in 1993, which caught the attention of Epitaph Records owner Brett Gurewitz.

They signed to Epitaph and released four albums, starting with Firme in 1995, still their most successful, followed by Baile de los Locos, Band Geek Mafia and Symbolic. Their first European tour came in 1996, followed by Japan, Australia, Mexico and South America.

Their songs have appeared on Epitaph’s Punk-O-Rama compilations and in video games, TV and films, including "Shoot the Moon" in Bio-Dome and their cover of Guns N’ Roses’ "Used to Love Her" on the Mr. & Mrs. Smith soundtrack.
