MakeWar

MakeWar is a Brooklyn trio: Jose Prieto on vocals and guitar, Edwin Santacruz on bass and Alejandro Serritiello on drums. The band grew out of Prieto's solo project, Sad and French, and released its self-titled debut in 2015, followed by Developing a Theory of Integrity in 2016.

They signed to Fat Wreck Chords for Get It Together (2019) and A Paradoxical Theory of Change (2021), recorded in two intense weeks at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Texas. Their songs deal honestly with depression, anxiety and finding acceptance, delivered as big, cathartic, sing-along punk.
